The Kindergarten and First Grade pumpkin patches
The Casis Organic Garden offers each Casis Classroom a
chance to learn and observe the natural world in a hands
on environment. If you have any suggestions, ideas or
comments please contact us.

If you are a Casis parent and are interested in volunteering
to help with the garden during the school year, be sure to
sign up in your child's classroom as a garden parent. A
green thumb is not required – just come and learn with the
children, guided by lesson plans and enjoy the learning
opportunities nature provides.
Casis Organic Garden Rules



1. Outdoor classroom – same as indoor –
Respect Self, Respect Others (bugs and
animals included) and Respect Property

2.  Safety:
Walk and look where you’re stepping
Feet stay on the ground
Ask an adult to use a tool, hold tool by
side when walking, return tool when you’
re finished
Hoses used by adults only

3. Ask before you pick

4. Watch and observe bugs and wildlife –
they are an important part of our garden

5. Have fun, explore and share your
ideas and observations
